chromocheck Protein C is a chromogenic assay intended for the quantitative determination of protein C activity in citrated human plasma.
chromocheck Protein C functions by activation of endogenous protein C in the plasma sample using Protein C Activator, a specific enzyme isolated from Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix venom. The chromogenic substrate is then hydrolyzed by activated protein C.
