Precision BioLogic recently received an award for Overall Excellence in Developing a Psychologically Healthy Workplace. The award was sponsored by the American Psychological Association, the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia, Saint Mary’s University, and the CN Centre for Occupational Health & Safety.
The psychologically healthy workplace program honors organizations across Canada and the U.S. that demonstrate a commitment to the psychological health and well-being of their employees and who create a positive work environment, while demonstrating high organizational performance. Organizations are judged on several criteria involving not only benefits to employees, but also the overall effectiveness of the organization.
Precision BioLogic was one of four award recipients in Nova Scotia. Other winners were: College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia for Excellence in Creating a Healthy Environment; Staples Contact Centre for Excellence in Health & Wellness; and Corporate Research Associates Inc. for Excellence in Employee Involvement and Communication.
